These sutures retain 50-60% tensile strength at 7 days and 20-30% at 14 days. They provide excellent knot security, cause minimal tissue reaction, and ensure smooth passage through tissues. Sterilized and packaged in aluminium foil with or without needles, they are reliable, predictable, and essential in surgical applications globally.
